enjoyed writing, I never had any "formal" industry experiences before starting my career as a freelance

My employment history includes experience working as a Human Resources Professional among other trades.
After starting my family however, I realized I did not want to work 40+ hour work weeks and deprive my
children of valuable stay-at-home time. I also couldn't image life as a full-time stay-at-home mother,
particularly as I needed to produce a minimum income to help support my family and pay our monthly bills.
That's when I realized my hobby "writing" could become a profitable profession.
While the first works I published were quite embarrassing, over time I learned to fine tune my skills
and become a successful freelance writer. I learned you really can make considerable income working
part-time hours, and you don't have to invest thousands of hours learning a complex process.
